Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Only Buy Bitcoin LLC, a Delaware limited liability company operating under the name YourNames ("we", "us"), collects through https://yournames.io, why, and what we do with it. We are the controller of that data; our details are in Section 8. The short version: we have no accounts and no password to lose, we don't sell anything or run advertising, and most of what the marketplace involves is public blockchain data that was never ours to keep private in the first place.
1. What we collect
- Your wallet address, when you connect one. It identifies you on the Site — there is no separate account. An address is pseudonymous, not anonymous: it is permanently public on Ethereum, and anyone can view its full transaction history and any names it holds.
- Orders you sign. If you list a name or make an offer, we store the signed order — your address, the name, the price, the terms, and the signature. This is published deliberately: an order is only useful if others can see and fulfil it.
- Sign-in details, if you use email or a social login. Those flows are operated by Reown, our wallet provider, which creates a wallet for you. We receive the resulting wallet address; the email address or social account is handled by Reown under its own policy, not stored by us.
- Concierge inquiry form data.Name, company, work email, optional phone, what you're looking for, optional budget notes, and your message — only if you submit that form.
- Search queries. Name lookups run from your browser against public Ethereum endpoints and public market APIs. We do not log your searches.
- Local preferences.Your USD/ETH choice and any part-finished registration are stored in your own browser so a refresh doesn't lose them. They never leave your device and are not readable by us.
- No advertising or analytics cookies, and no cross-site tracking.
2. What is permanent and public
Registering, buying, selling, or transferring a name writes to a public blockchain. Those records are permanent, worldwide, and outside anyone's control — including ours. We cannot edit or delete them, and neither can you. If you set records on a name (a website, an avatar, a description), that content is public too. Please treat anything you attach to a name as permanently published.
3. How we use it
Wallet addresses and orders are used to operate the marketplace: showing you your names, showing your listings and offers to potential counterparties, and letting trades execute. Concierge inquiry data is used to respond to you and is covered by our Confidentiality / NDA Agreement. We do not sell personal data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not add you to marketing lists.
4. Processors we rely on
- Vercel hosts the Site and processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent) to serve and secure it.
- Neon hosts the database holding signed orders.
- Reown provides wallet connection, and the email and social sign-in that create an embedded wallet (their privacy policy).
- Alchemy provides Ethereum access and the lookup of which names an address owns.
- Grails supplies public market data for names listed elsewhere.
- Web3Forms delivers concierge form submissions to our inbox (their privacy policy).
Your browser also talks directly to public Ethereum endpoints and a public price API. Those requests go from your device to those services and are governed by their own terms.
5. Retention
Signed orders are kept while they are live and for a period afterwards as a record of trades that occurred. Concierge correspondence is kept for as long as needed to serve you and to document the agreement recorded at submission (including the anti-circumvention period in the Terms of Service), then deleted.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing, through the contact form (mark the request "Privacy"). We respond within thirty (30) days.
Two honest limits. We cannot delete anything from the blockchain — no one can. And we cannot delete a signed order in a way that stops it being fulfilled; to do that you must cancel it on-chain from your own wallet.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means the updated policy applies.
8. Who we are, and contact
